Where Knowledge Lives

Open AI Receptionist › Knowledge. Everything the AI says about your business comes from here — services, FAQs, policies, hours, and guidance. During onboarding it is seeded from your industry template; your job is to make it yours.

Guided Editor vs Raw Markdown

The Guided Editor structures your knowledge into sections — business overview, selling points, service area, services, FAQs, policies, hours, dos and don’ts for the AI, common objections, and what makes you different — and shows a completeness percentage as you fill them in. The Raw Markdown editor is for pasting or writing free-form notes instead.

Word-for-Word Answers

Each FAQ can be marked verbatim — the AI then delivers your exact wording instead of paraphrasing. Use this for legally sensitive answers, guarantees, and pricing disclaimers.

Preview What the AI Knows

The Preview AI knowledge panel shows the exact knowledge text the AI receives, with per-channel fit chips: Full, SMS, and Voice. Short-form channels get a trimmed version — the chips show whether your content fits or gets trimmed on each channel. If critical facts fall into the trimmed portion, tighten your wording.

The Review Queue: Learn From Real Questions

The Review tab of AI Receptionist › Knowledge collects questions the AI could not answer — from conversations it flagged itself or handed to a human — with an occurrence count so you can prioritize.

1

Open the Review queue

A badge on the Review tab shows how many questions are waiting.

2

Write or edit the answer

Each card lets you edit the proposed answer and toggle Answer word-for-word for verbatim delivery.

3

Approve or dismiss

Add to FAQs makes it a permanent part of the knowledge pack. Dismiss drops questions that are not worth answering.
